— Monitoring thyroid levels – diagnostic for Hyperthyroidism in cats but screening only for Hypothyroidism in dogs.
— Blood smear microscopic evaluation
Urinalysis:
— Biochemistry dipstick
— Specific gravity (concentration of urine) Specific gravity (concentration of urine)
— Sediment microscopic evaluation
Faecal egg flotation for intestinal worm detection
Heartworm detection:
— Ag blood test and microscopic blood smear evaluation
Skin and hair sample evaluation for parasites, fungae, yeasts and bacteria.

Microscopic cytology analysis of fine needle aspirates from suspected abnormal tissue.
